Beautiful sunrise this morning.

 

Morning friends. Cheerwine is good, I liked it and so did son and daughter, wife turned her nose up at it n wouldn't try it. Amazing how fast the 12oz bottle chugged down, and I'm not a big fan of sugar soda anymore. Been hooked on diet stuff the last 25 years.
I will be busy making plugs again today.

 

I dared take yesterday off so I'm sure I'll pay for that today.

I had to stop by Tractor Supply yesterday afternoon, I decided to try on some work boots they had. Wolverine and Schmidt, they were both like wearing rocks. No flex and heavy. Red Wing store here I come

 

Customer came in the store early this morning and I ask him if he's talked to a mutual friend of ours lately. He said did you hear what he did to his finger? I said nope, he was taking a transmission out of something and it slipped and he dropped it on his hand and cut half of his index finger off

My last 2 pairs of boots were Wolverines. I thought they were alright.

But I've never had a pair of Red Wings to compare them to, either.

 

It’s like driving a Ford Ranger and a Tacoma. One is okay, the other is amazing

My boss man backed the shop truck in tight this morning. Guess he’s trying to make the back match the front

 

That's all I have worn for 30 yrs is red wings for work but they're not what they used to be and this may be my last last pair because they have went up $50 bucks in 18 months and they don't hold up as well.....

 

The first couple pairs I had were way more comfortable than the new ones and they aren't getting any cheaper.
