I don't have much of a problem with insulated boots year around and find they're much more comfortable right from the get go. Last pair of regular Redwings took a month to break in.

A lot of the new ones are glued not stitched or poorly stitched and they used to be resole-able but not the new ones. I am on concrete surfaces just about all day and they dont hold up....

When I was working on the store I barely touched this piece of wood and it fell off. Carpenter bees got into it. How’d they know where the edge was, sound?

Thanks! We just had Subway for lunch.
I noticed the Irish Setter line getting worse, so now I spring for the USA made shoes. Much better quality, fit and comfort.

I looked at the Irish Setters when I was at the Red Wing store earlier, they didn't feel to good to me. Very stiff soles.

Yes, and they only glue the soles. I got a pair of Oxfords, since I'm in the office now. The welt is sown on and much more comfortable.

My first pair of irish setters 2 years ago were great. This last pair I bought were night and day awful.

I was supposed to have a phone interview 30 minutes ago so I get up early after working 2nd last night, knock chores out and pack for tomorrow. No call no nothing, and this is the 2nd time this week they've done this to me. God's talking to me..that's so disrespectful. Basically saying my time isn't valuable. No thanks ;)

Funny how with transport costs they can still under bid the USA.

Then you have to deal with quality !

I could tell a Story How some work for the Freedom Towers was out sourced to China( Bottom line $$$) when it came back it was so bad it all needed to be redone.
