Vegans who eat veggie bacon

 

Wtf is veggie bacon

 

Fakin Bacon. Made from tempeh which is fermented soy basically, it smells less than great and tastes about as good as fermented soy sounds

 

man I can't do tempeh at all. tastes like fromunda cheese and mushrooms

 

With the exception of Beyond Burger patties that @xtremewlr got me hooked on, I can't like any "healthy" alternatives of fake meat etc.

Everything else I've tried tastes like crap.

 

tempeh is gross, at least the kind I've tried in that form. But tofu is good if you season and grill it. I just prefer that it be what it is, if I'm not going to eat meat for dinner then I'm not eating meat. I don't want to eat something that's pretending to be meat lol.

thank god my dad offered us his corporate car rental discount for our Missouri trip, even with USAA discount our Chevy Malibu rental was going to be over $1,000 for one week. With my dad's discount it's just over $400.

$180/week plus "fees" bring it to $400. Why can't they just say it's $400/week.

Ha I wish, that's money that gets to stay all cozy in my bank account for now. This past month and the next are going to be brutal with these trips.

Our babysitting monthly expense is at $1000 right now At that cost we might as well just start using a daycare, at least she'll get more out of it.

Something that looks and tastes just as good as a $0.03 raise an hour. And yea that happened to me when I was younger. Worked in a steel mill for $7.25 an hour and my boss came up to me and went. "You're getting a raise!" I asked to what? "$7.28 an hour!" he said it like it was the biggest raise he's ever seen.

 

I've been making some aisian dishes and tofu makes sense when the recipe is based around it... It generally doesn't work as well when you straight up substitute it for meat though

 

ha, I got one of those too. My manager bumped it up $.50/hr and acted like it was because my team was working so hard.

A couple days later my buddy was like "So, what do you think about the minimum wage increase?"

I'd definitely opt for a well regarded daycare.

Even then, there's been talk about one of us staying home for a year or so.

Looking at my school benefits, I have 3 years of paid for tuition and books left so really I could take 2 years of trade school and something online for business?

I remember telling my boss that working additional 33 hours for a $1.00 more was insulting. and he can tell the payroll people to keep it and choke on it. Then at the end of the day I got a job offer for a welding robot operator for $15 an hour. And was told that I was fired at the steel mill but I said "to late I quit!" And skipped out of there like a happy bastard that I was lol
