As a test, I tried to get a Going to the Sun Road ticket today.

I had the site up on both my phone and laptop.

The system locks up because of the number of people trying to get a ticket.

All 145 tickets were sold out in under 2 minutes.

It never even let me add one to the cart.

Today is the last day we can cancel the resort my wife booked and still get our money back.

I have no idea what to do right now.

    :annoyed:

    New poll.

I don't know why but I just thought about being stuck and wonder how many actually have been stuck.

I've pulled some people out when they got stuck, I recall at least 3 times being stuck myself and they all have to do with deer hunting and all were 4WD trucks.

Once I got stuck in my yard and had to winch myself out so Cole and I could go hunt, once a friend and I were hunting 3 hours away and I tried to go around a cotton bale and got stuck, had to winch out with the four wheeler, the other time I got the '03 Tacoma stuck a couple years ago so bad I had to haul the tractor over the next day and get a friend to help me pull it out........was getting a deer out my wife shot when that last one happened......in the rain.

    Pulled or winched out? No.

Dug out of the snow? A couple of time.

Going to a friend's house, I took an unplowed back road in the spring when the snow was melting. Got the chassis high centered and had to dig it out.

Basically the same thing in the alley behind my parent's house. The snow drifted in one spot and there wasn't a chance I was making it through, but you couldn't tell how deep it was when everything is smooth and white until you were already in it.

My friend's '82 Subaru got stuck on a frontage road after a blizzard. Dug him out just enough to get a chain hooked up to it and dragged him 3/4 of a mile to the nearest plowed road.

Thankfully I didn't get stuck going to the Peterbilt dealer in town but the snow was coming over the hood of my Blazer. Trying to find their driveway without going into the ditch on either side was like Indiana Jones taking the Leap of Faith.

I've already warned my wife that our trip might consist of exploring north west Montana, just not Glacier.
No worries! I was just venting a bit anyway.

I’ve been stuck a few times in the past couple years.

Making this climb and fell over. Embarrassing to say the least. Glad I didn’t yard sale it.

Wife originally got stuck at the gate on this late May freak snowstorm. I had to show her how to get it done. Needless to say, under the drivers side is about 4’ on nothing but snow.

Had one of my best friends call me up at 9PM one evening that he was in some trouble. His Jeep took some serious damage and needed a pull out where he was (Morrison Jeep trail). Took a cat nap, then drove 12 hours, off-road back in unknown territory for 17 miles, found him and his GF, pulled him out, came back together.

Couple months ago I got the tractor stuck pretty good.

Have a few more with me running out of talent and four tires in the air upside down…another time.
