I would say it was a 7/10 for difficulty.

As you need the correct size puller to remove the bearing. Since it is such limited space.

If your face plate is as messed up as mine, it takes quite a bit to get it removed as well.

You must also get the correct spacing for the face plate when you put the new one on. Since it is magnetically engaged, it requires exact spacing.

I pulled mine last year when I stripped one of the end links. I liked it a lot without it but when I put my rtt on I put it back in and I am happy I did. I loved it soft floating feeling without it but it does lean when you go around corners. So with the added weight on top I figured its better with it. Also I have heard horror stories about people getting into an accident and because the sway bar is gone they have a lot more issues. But if you have heavier springs in the front then you might not have any issues with the leaning around corners

Oil change, rotate/balance, engine air filter, cabin air filter, wiper blade inserts.
Swept out the debris that was in the bed and enlarged the two front outer drain holes in the bed to 1/2".

Truck is very close to turning 150,000

While under the truck I noticed that the R/F axle boot has a tear in it letting out grease (need new boots). I should've done the diff drop sooner.
I also saw that my L/R axle seal is leaking. I can't get the drum off so it looks like I'm going to need drums and shoes on the rear along with a new seal. Should I do the passenger side seal as well?

Changed plugs, air filter, cabin air filter, tranny fluid, and engine oil. I also cleaned out the interior and the bed because I'm dropping it off for a new frame tomorrow.PXL_20210624_220320461.jpg

That is a great idea! I appreciate the suggestion. I might give this a shot here soon. What did you use for your "deadener"? Any chance you have some pics before putting the door panel back on?

There were 4 shims in the stock one. We reused 1 or 2, and 1 or 2 from the new pack.

    Got it perfect.

When I do them I use what ever came out of the old one (never used a feeler gauge to check). I made the mistake once of forgetting to reuse a shim and I had to take it back apart.

You should do both with 150,000 miles if one is already leaking.....it is only a quick matter of time before the other one goes. How is the snorkel situation?

Shop I used to go to took the lifts out - there was too much red tape and expense involved with maintaining the lift, employee training etc. They found it cheaper to use jacks.
