21 SR black leather/vinyl. Did it by myself. Took around 5 hours or so. It was tough and time consuming at times but not difficult by any stretch. I thought the head rests were the easiest part of all. Asked a couple questions on here when I got into some sticky spots and got quick responses. I would recommend you do the same as the instructions are very generic at best. Will re-tighten things up in a week or so. Hoping they are as good as everyone says and hold up!

Just got the all black with perforated leather centers and installed today. They look incredible. I started looking at these a year ago and finally pulled the trigger. Wish I had done it sooner. It changes the whole dynamic of the interior and matches perfectly. Install is not that bad if you leave them in the sun first. Took me extra time because i pulled off the plastic on the rear seats and put it over top the leather. It's a huge pain in the ass, but worth it in my opinion.

I guess the whole point of this was to trust everyone else's good experiences on here and just do it. They really are incredible!

Move the string to the opposite side of the recline lever and stuff it in under the plastic around the base, then pull tight and tie it off. You'll probably want to retighten after several weeks, so tie it off in a manner you can untie and tighten once more.

Just installed mine today. Head rests were tough but the part I struggled with was getting the velcro on the seat back fastened. The way it's designed, and the tight fit makes this very difficult, even with 2 people. 20210724_205208.jpg

Yep that's what we did. I don't know if the factory flap you tuck behind the seat back isnt properly tucked but even with 2 people pulling we can barely get the flaps to reach the velcro. The seat backs are snug from top to bottom with no obvious wrinkles. Not sure what the issue is. Going to let it break in a bit and then try to tighten everything.

Hey man, I know that it's been a million years since you made this post, but how does the dark grey leather match the grey inserts on your door? Is there a big difference? Could you take a pic for comparison? Me love you long time.

Have the all black synthetic seat covers and they really do improve the whole dynamic of the interior.

Mine just arrived. Does anyone know offhand what page the poster made a step by step for making a template and putting cover under the hard plastic back on the back seats?

I didn't use a template for mine. I popped off the plastic cover then slipped the clazzios over the seat and got them nice and tight. Then I lined up the cover on the back where it would go. I put a bit of my own weight on it and pounded it on a bit. By doing that it left a temporary imprint on the leather cover where the plastic hooks go. Then I just cut a 2-3 inch slit on those marks. You can also kind of feel through the leather where the metal bars are that the plastic hooks onto. Also for the 60% seat there are three screws to take off the plastic cover. When lining up the cover to make the marks on the leather make sure you also get a screwdriver and act like you're screwing in the center screw on the cover so it marks the leather as well. Then cut out a small square at that screw mark.

Just got mine a few days ago. I chose the perforated leather option, with beige inside and beige stitching. Pretty easy install on a hot day. I broke my shoestring tie on the drivers side cause I was pulling too hard. Replaced it with paracord. Would have been a bit easier with a second pair of hands to pull down on the back of the front seats while I was pulling up on the bottom to velcro it more tightly, but it was still doable. I also wanted to keep the backseat plastic covers ontop of the leather and that was not difficult to do. Only took an extra 10-20 minutes to manage it. So far I am very happy with the quality and fit. Feels good and I think they look great too.
