    Soft tissue and tendon damage very possible. My wife and both kids got smacked from behind at only 35mph. This was 28 yrs ago. She ended up getting right ankle surgery. Foot was on the brake when they got smacked and took all that energy. I'm just sayin' ... and if she is hurt, definitely get a lawyer.
