I almost put that in my last reply 'unless he has a 1st gen too', lol.

Well, IDK then. Seems odd to me that a company would make bushings for the UCAs but the bolt won't fit through them. My SPC's bushings work with the stock bolt.

Nothing wrong with Whitelines. Don't need to reuse the sleeves either.

Picked up this pile the other day. It would start but die when it was given gas. Figured it'd be an easy fix. Found the crank vent barb somehow pulled out of the valve cover, the intake tube was held together with duct tape, and a knock sensor wire pulled out of the plug. After fixing those things it was put to work getting the parts 4r onto the trailer. 4x4 swap should be pretty painless.

It doesn't look like it made much of a difference from the pictures, but it is really night and day. My legs feel like they have much more support which also means your back won't hurt as much. I haven't had any back pain since I've gotten these. With that being said, they are pretty pricey, but I couldn't imagine going back to the stock seating angle. I would recommend them, and the build quality is great.

My interior is getting closer to what I want.
Still need to find a black automatic shift knob w overdrive from a 4runner to fit my ride.
These are not my final seats. These were just cheapest with cloth that are somewhat quality seats I can find. Cipher Auto on Planted Technology seat mounts.
Installed. Black Carpet Installed. Center console I made my self Installed.

    Nice. Solid looking.

V6 auto prerunner. 230k Paint is showing its age and there was a half assed bondo job on the driver fender but other than that the body is in decent shape. Locker works and it has a 2" body lift which is likely what destroyed the intake tube. Bought it for the sole purpose of flipping it. Figured it's worth more than the $2500 I picked it up for. Have the 4x4 parts from the 4r that I swapped the engine into one with a blown headgasket. Frame was rusting out on that which was a bummer, overall it was in good shape.

I consider swapping everything over but it would be a lot of work to beef up everything that I've done on my Shitbox which surprisingly doesn't need any attention right now. Still want to put some twins in the T100. Need intercooler and stand alone on the Tacoma before that project starts though.

Anyone know if we can still get the transfer case shifter boot from toyota anymore? I can't seem to find a part number for just the boot.

Just for reference, it's the one for the auto, pic below

Got back from the desert last night, and today popped in a new starter soon as the sun was up. Definitely spent more time looking for my tire key than doing this swap..

Got my tonneau cover installed today. If any of you are interested, BedLiner Kingdom in Whittier was where I went and they were super friendly.

Alright, if it were you, would you:

Swap the ADD/Auto/ECU over to a PreRunner if you had it on hand

    OR

Swap a 5speed/manual hubs/keep the 4x2 ECU and probably lose a few hundred in parts

    04 4x4 to 04 PreRunner

I'm about to start the first option tomorrow. Still debating if I want to use the ADD or just put it in the engaged position and leave it.

    Uh..neither?

    5spd with 4wd with ADD.

    Manual hubs aren't worth it.
