i have recentley upgraded the tires on my sr5 went from 245/75/16 stock to 265/75/16 goodyear ultra- terrain ats.. This is to all new tacoma owners thinking of doing a lift get tires and try it out before u start lifting your truck. im completely satisfied with just running bigger meatier tires. the truck looks awesome now even without going down the rabbit hole and spending a ton of money purchasing lift, wheel spacers, etc, etc

I wasn't doubting you, was unsure. I've heard wheel well hacks, and misc trimming needed is needed. I guess case by case basis. Thanks, new here as well.

the only thing i took off that i think pretty much everyone takes off was the front bumper cowl before the new tires were installed..

Thanks for this post, even if it exists in 50 other posts and you get shite for it.

I’ve also jumped in with a ‘21 SR5, and ready for some wider, more capable tires. Looking at Yokohama Geolandar ATs 265/70/16 — but just hoping they’ll be fine on stock wheels (for now)? Also looking at the Bilstein 5100 setup to level up. Might this help? Want some room up over the tires without going too high.

Thanks so much to everyone for this site. I’ve been on it for months even before pulling the trigger on the truck. Wouldn’t have done it without you.

Just go with the 265/75/16 it will fit and it looks great, I love the Goodyear ultra terrains Ats plus they are affordable from other tires and look aggressive and are quiet they're sort of a cross between mud and all terrain

Yeah dude I literally bought a readylift 3 f spacer , and 2 inch rear block and bought some spidertrax spacers 1.25 spacers returned it all .. paid for the shipping which sucked but got money back
