Got a $20 Loyalty Rewards certificate from my dealership, so I bought WeatherTech side window deflectors and put them on the truck this afternoon.

Love WT and wish they would make a rear window deflector so it was possible to drive in the rain without water pouring in. :rain:

Had some ceramic tint put on the windows today. Legal on the front windows, went with 30 in the back.

Got a lot done. Put a bed cover on last week and finished putting on a tailgate weather seal today and installed the Toyota power tailgate lock.

And installed a stand alone wireless front camera. The red guide line is set for around 10 inches clearance. Enough work for one day. LOL

Added a Rockymounts Driveshaft Track thru axel bike mount to the Prinsu. The rear wheel rests on the second to last bar and I have two tie down loops to secure the rear wheel with a velcro strap.

Getting the bike up there is a LOT harder than I thought it would be. This will not be my primary mode to transport the bike. This is for occasional uses when the bed is full or we have more bikes than I can carry with other methods (bed and hitch rack). Or for when I camp and I am sleeping in the bed and don't want to share it with my bike and don't trust locking the bike up to a tree or other item.

Not thrilled with how high up above the Prinsu it sits. Might change it and lay it down flat on the cross bar, but that would make it harder to get into the thru axel location.

Note - this mount is intended for the bed rails. I had to buy new mounting hardware for the Prinsu. Some t-nuts, 6M x 1.0 x 14mm bolts, washer and locking washer on each of the 3 mounting bolts.

You guys have such AWESOME trucks! I love seeing all the possibilities.

All I did was wash my baby today, and removed the TRD stickers - I like the clean look. IMG_0032.jpg IMG_0033.jpg

Just a little exploring today on some back roads. Function testing the lockers in some soft sand. I think I'm ready to cut up my fenders.

Got my tablet mount from expedition essentials, the Samsung s7 tablet fits really well. Now i need to decide which app ill be using, onx or gia gps. So far, On X w a membership is kinda shitty. Id advise against it at this point without too much time using it. Just not very intuitive for me.20210625_183809.jpg 20210625_183815.jpg

I have onX and have to constantly switch between that and Apple Maps. Gaia works with CarPlay so you don’t have to even use a tablet. I’m interested in BFGoodrich’s OnTrail just need to give it a 14 day trial.

Took a little road trip to the Baton Rouge area and got the KDMax tune installed by @PapaRee - felt the improvement before I ever made it back to the interstate. Should have done it sooner!! Great tune, great guy!

I had the title put in my name! Just drove it home. Rear seat delete and remote tailgate lock in the works. You guys here were really the inspiration for me to go Tacoma. I retire in 5 months and the super pacific camper goes on and I’m out the door. Thanks

I have not added a power head yet. I do notice a sound difference, especially when I turn it up, classic rock definitely sounds better but that is not to say I’m steadfast on no power head. I haven’t looked at any as of yet. I do like all the goodies in my head unit and I assume there are some out there that would fit the bill. And if you have any suggestions, please let me know a few. Thanks Bro.

Subaru tweeter upgrade was the best $100 I have spent on my truck.
