Yeah, you've posted several times that they're working great...

I talked my buddy into buying them and he loves them compared to the Duratracs he had on before

Part of the reason why I got a Toyo for a spare.

@xtremewlr are the Open Country AT3s also true to size?

Pretty close. Toyo shows 32.8 for my 285/70/17s inflated. Mine have almost 17k miles now and are very close to that, at least measuring the spare. Tires on the truck measure 32" with 35-ish psi and the weight of the truck on them.

Which controls should I keep? Yea I know I'm starting to mix themes. I think I had an MB 300D back in the 80s with a mix of black panels and some wood accents. I guess that was a German thing to mix wood and black trim on those days.

I really don't like automobiles with Edwardian Crests or French Rococo-styled wood accent panels.

    The naked Cruiser style

    upload_2021-6-25_9-48-3.jpg

The LX470 style with push buttons. The finish wears off the fan speed buttons and they look like hell when they get older.

    upload_2021-6-25_9-49-56.jpg

    French Rococo wooden cabinets.

    upload_2021-6-25_9-51-5.jpg

Edwardian Crest - this is not from a car but a family coat of arms.. people once worshiped this stuff.

I'm thinking of going to the Toyo Open Country RT when I go to bigger tires. Maybe the MT, we'll see.

Probably go with a 35x12.50/17. They spec it out at 34.8 tall.

Woodgrain interior on newer vehicles don't do it for me. I prefer the luxury feel of good ol black, grained plastic.

It took me a while to strip my Cruiser of all of that faux wood. It wasn’t fun, but necessary. (Especially when it gets bubbly) Heat gun helped. The interior was much cleaner looking afterwards.

I have to replace my panels to get rid of the wood; it's real in the 4R. :violent:

Not that you can't strip it off, but it leaves tons of residue and it's a lot of work.

LXs have a lot of real wood or wood looking molded plastic. I wish I could peel it off like a LC. My only hope is to sand it down and go with some type of black lacquer oriental finish.
