Been nearly a year since I installed mine. Just revisited this thread. No cracking or any other issues to report from me.

First set .....had them for 2 1/2 years, zero issues. I replaced them along with my bushings for maintenance, 6 months, still zero issues. Just lucky I guess.

the 30-40 day wait time is for arms with new boots. he actually offered to send me arms with old boots right away and send my the updated boots later free of charge. since im waiting on coilovers anyways i was fine with waiting. All arms shipped after july 12th will have new boots installed. which arent "new" boots. all these boot cracking issues are from them getting a bad batch from their supplier. boots prior to this batch didnt have the cracking issues

Mine have been on about 6-8 months too, no issues from me. I did have to add a washer in addition to the one he provided under the ball joint boot but no cracking or anything weird on mine.

Is that washer install correct? I think I only have one per side.

Two per side is correct. Shortly before JBA switched to the newer style boots with the flex grooves, they started including 4 washers(2 per side) for installation. This was because in some cases, people were noticing a gap at the top of the boot after installation and use.

I bought my JBA's about a month before they switched to the boots with flex grooves. Following the instructions...I installed two washers per side.

I have that gap. That makes sense now. I couldn’t get a washer in the bottom so I just kept one on the top. But reading that makes more sense now.

I think I'm canceling my order. I clicked through the first no.fraud email after seeing on here that other people had gotten it as well, but now they are asking me to provide an alternate email address. Sorry, but they seem to building a profile to sell my pii. I'm not comfortable with the transaction anymore.

Email. I got an email from JBA saying it was legit, and they partner with them. That's why I clicked through to verify my email with no fraud. They just sent me a second email asking for an alternate email address, which was about 4.5 hrs later. And I paid with PayPal, so it's not like I would have a different email attachment to it.

I purchased new bushings and ball joints from them not 3 months ago and didn't get anything like that.

Did you use their checkout or PayPal? The whole thing is odd, but I know I'm not the only one to have this happen.

After some back forth emails they wouldn't tell my why they wanted a second email address. Tried telling me "we're legit, ask jba". When I told them that's not what I asked and it doesn't answer my question they said they would contact jba to verify my email address against the PayPal receipt. The person seemed pissed when I told them they were agrigating PII to sell to 3rd parties. sent me some quote from their website. Lol, like that's going to convince me.

I used my paypal. This just seems weird only because I have been dealing with Marlin over at JBA for years and never had anything like this happen.
