Member on TW hooked me up with these wheels. They did not fit over my Tundra brake calipers. So had to get spacers 1.25"
The ride is a lot smoother now actually after balance of the wheels was done.

 

Classic Wheelers Type B's. Nice.

 

. 25" spacer should be all you need if you didn't want the wider stance.

Myself, I hate having the truck look like I just went through a mud bog just driving down a wet dirt road. I'll agree a little does look good but I'm ready to have mine back under the fenders.

 

where I live its very unlikely any mud will hit my truck.

 

They are Dakars, but...

...I have removed the third leaf and the last overload at the bottom. I'm currently getting about 3 inches of lift. With the stock Dakar pack I was seeing more than 5 inches! Waaaayyyy too much, since I have the front set up at about 2 inches. This truck is my daily driver and the springs are very comfortable, but I have probably sacrificed a fair amount of load capacity in favor of ride quality.

 

I feel like they shouldn’t be

 

So weird thing happened last night. At the same time my fuel pump just happened to get stuck I noticed that my radio, clock, and electric door locks were not working.

I thought maybe I had some bizzare electrical issue that was going to be a nightmare. Ended up kicking the tank and it started right up so I knew that probably wasn’t it.

So I turned my attention to the dome fuse. It was blown and two more blew right when I put them in.
Turns out my dome light somehow got crooked and was grounding out on the roof while still hitting both terminals. Took it out, replaced the fuse and all good. Just a coincidence that they both shit the bed at the same time. It was all working fine 4 hours before trying to start it up.

 

I almost gave up trying to get mine back in after installing the whitelines. It was evident some rocks had bent the mounts though.

 

ive heard multiple times that the 95-97 dakars ride stiff. my skyjackers have sagged out alot and looking for replacements. may go with these or just go 63s

 

That’s just sad.

Hey gents I’m trying to install my switch pro 9100. I need to tie onto an ignition wire with the light blue wire from the harness. Anyone know which wire it is?

 

Why? I dont want any mud on my truck unless there is a need for it. I use the truck for many other needs.

 

I hate mud on my truck too. What is sad is that you live somewhere its very unlikely any mud will hit your truck. I read that as, the only place you can drive your truck is pavement. No opportunity to ever off-road.

 

@turbodb were your sonorans all smooshed?m when torqued to spec?
