The truth is ECO and "entune apps" do not matter to me, I think you have more benefits having a stereo with a bigger screen, entune 3.0 (it looks more modern) and carplay and AA. I already have the stereo, I only need the AHH harness, I already contacted him, waiting to finish the installation

I actually got the Apps button to work on both 19 Sienna w/Nav and 20 Tacoma w/out NAV HU’s by using a “non registered” VIN ‘s. All you need is a Valid Entune account, Entune 3.0 App and a VIN. Just add the donor vin in the add vehicle section. Change the default vehicle in the garage section menu to the new added vin and scroll down to the connect your accounts section and hit connect now. Make sure the HU and smartphone are paired. You should be able to make the Apps work again. Pardon me if this is unclear. I been up all night from work while I’m typing this. Feel free to ask me any questions. I can even walk anyone thru this. Just pm me and I can help you over the phone.

That was my thought too! Apps weren't a big deal and I never go on the ECO screen so I didn't even realize it didn't work until Gilberto pointed it out.

This all makes sense but one Q, where do you get the non-registered vin?

WHat are the benefits of having the Apps? I tried using a non-registered VIN but wasn't able to install any app. The only thing that showed up on the Phone was the option to start/stop and lock/unlock remotely but since the truck doesn't have the option i doubt it could be possible. As far as i know the Apps on the Entune are only a few and require the data from the phone. Maybe the VIN was not a good one or was from a different model.

BTW The phone app is not available for México in the Play store. I had to download it from somewhere else.

Here in Mexico, I understand that the entune apps do not work, since the entune application is not available in Mexico. I have seen videos of those apps, and I do not see great relevance of having them, with carplay or android auto and having google maps, it is more than enough

Hi, AHH harness is not compatible with JBL radios, when you order the harness, they warn you (Please make sure that both the new headunit and your vehicle are not JBL systems as this adapter will not work for the JBL unit)

Hi will this head unit work on my 2018 jbl set up? I am only interested in apple CarPlay. What harness would I need?

The head unit has to be JBL as well. I'm not sure if the harness could be done though. Otherwise I think you need to change the wiring to pull out the JBL amplifier and probably change the speakers, not sure.

Wow. That’s beautiful. Stock BU camera sucks. I’m confused by the surround/bezel shown in your link. Did you use it or the stock bezel? Was the wiring harness REALLY plug/play? No trouble installing, right? Thanks for letting me ask a bunch of questions.
