    So...I cleaned the TB yesterday. Sprayed out and brushed and rinsed. Did it a couple times till all ran clear. Now my idle stays in the upper 900-1100rpms, even after warming up. Before I did all this, after warming up it would drop to the lower 700rpms, sometimes even the upper 600rpms.

    Is this just the computer getting used to the clean TB? Will it eventually "learn" all the parameters again and go back to what I consider "normal"?

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks in advance for any help!!

    I have had this happen a few times in the past in my shop but I used my scanner to reset the parameters. You may try disconnecting the battery for about ten minutes. (negative side only). Then key on.(wait 30 sec). start it up and let it idle for about 30 sec. then drive it for at least 5 min to relearn idle. Hope this works for you. Never had this happen with a 4.0 but it may work for you.

    Hope it works! If not I'll do some research on a few sites I pay for at work to see what I can find out.

    It will go away after a couple of days and run like a champ. Did mine this past Sat. I have done it before with the same results. It's ok...

    I forgot to repost here, oops.

    Yesterday, I recleaned the TB and actually removed it to be more thorough. Did what Corey said and the idle is now back to normal. Once it's warmed up, I'm back to 700-720rpms.

    All is well in my head now too!!

    Thanks again Corey:yay::bowdown:
