The guys are busy out in the back. I was there yesterday. Some of them are on vacation. If he hasn’t gotten back I’m sure he will.

I’m not offended by it. I get it. Run a shop and another business on the side. Just figured it could be answered on here too.

I know this is amateur hour compared to most if not all of you in here.. but I'm slowly getting there with my baby 35s. Curious what you guys have been doing for the rear. I already finished the fronts and undercoated everything under there, and haven't been running liners for years anyways.. so I don't plan on putting any back in up front.

I planned to just bend and make mounts as needed for the front and rear bedside supports below.. but the liner.. I'd kinda like to put them back in somehow. All the attachment points will be gone from the sheet metal fender obviously.. so some self tapers back into the newly cut fenders? Or did you all just say F it and ditch the rear liners too?

I guess the rear bedside supports don't matter right now actually.. since the high clearance bumper going on will have those tie-ins.

No liners in the rear. I used the support on my last truck that had a HC rear.

Ditch the liners. And no the new bumper doesn’t have any bedside supports. So you should draw some up and warerjet them out at work. Only company I’ve seen that made them was Pelfreybilt

Well.. the only reason I'd like to keep the rear liners is for when we get the camper. Id like to minimize the amount of water, mud, dust that would get thrown up in there. I plan to pull the bedrail caps and seal everything I can get my hands on in preparation for the camper.

The bedside mount.. good to know. I really figured that was standard on all high clearance bumpers nowadays. I'll wait till the bumper is on and come up with something.

You could always fab up some tabs from the wings of the high-clearance part closest to the tire to support the bedsides and DIY fender liners -- that's basically what I did. I'm going to tap the inside edge of the high-clearance wing to make mounts for removable mudflaps so I can reduce some amount of splatter.

My brute force high clearance came with some. They were hiding and I didn’t know until I had already made my own out of the stock ones haha.
