If you’re interested, my wife still talks to the property manager and is helping some other friends book it.

No worries, we'll come to you!

Kinda bummed all the houses we found in the Eureka area fell through. Would have been super close to the border at that point.
:thumbsup:I'll definitely let you know if we end up wanting to head out that way.

We obviously will at some point, but who knows what the plans are this year. Obviously some more home stuff before fun stuff :annoyed:

Thats a cool spot near the border. I camped right on the US/Canada border two years ago there straight west of roosville and right next to the lake. When it opens up and you can cross. anywhere north of that area has tons of Crown land to camp on (Public Lands).

Need to get that passport tho. Wife and I havent actually gone on our Honeymoon due to Covid. Once it opens up I need my passport so we can go somewhere. we were thinking Hawaii.

That campground you mention is less than 2 miles away from the house we were in contract on for a short time. The neighbors house bordered usfs and he was willing to grant us easement. Super bummed that didn't work out, but it was missing a few requirements and had a bit of a psycho tenant situation going on.

We loved the area. Unfortunately that side of the river has way less infrastructure and drops signal a few miles prior that house. There's plans to get fiber ran to that area but it's still a ways out. Maybe we'll end up that way down the road, but it'll be a few years.

Also, I guess coming from a fire danger perspective, it was a little scary to think about being trapped up there with the only access out being the koocanusa bridge. F that.

So I can drain the engine oil, replace oil filter, and inspect the bottom of the engine. There is lots of stuff under there that should be looked at periodically.
PLUS: the skid is super bent up and mangled and always provides a challenge to reinstall. I can’t do a job like this and have everything go smooovly.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
