Fuckin key board warrioring is strong in here

Not everyone is gonna Google every car they see on the road. Someone is gonna see a Ford bronco and say hey that's the Bronco. Then keep driving.

What an absolute waste of my time it has been to come onto Tacoma World tonight. It’s the ignorant, arrogant, and self righteous pricks that ruin forums like this.

You’re not wrong for the general population. However, I would expect people on this enthusiast forum to have even an inkling of knowledge about other truck competitors offerings. But I guess I’m wrong. My bad.

    Work in progress

Set aside the unfortunate negativity and the lack of manners by some folks (which is sad and unfortunate), this could be a real problem for Ford from a branding perspective. While an expert -- or someone who cares enough to focus on it -- can easily tell the difference between the Bronco Sport and the Bronco the general public doesn't really care and probably won't. That's not good from a branding perspective. It may serve to strengthen the credibility -- and sales of the Bronco Sport -- but also weaken the brand for the Bronco, which is clearly going after Jeep.

Only time will tell but any confusion is on Ford ... and not the person who is the casual observer ...

Edit: On the other hand, who can argue with the early sale success:

To be fair, dealerships can’t keep anything in stock.

Full disclosure: I’m a Bronco order holder and bailed for the Tacoma and the delays.

Glad we got you here to 'splain stuff to us. Why would or should anyone look-up, research, or simply investigate anything about a commercial product they don't intend to purchase? Must be the need to speak with internet authority on truck forums. Well done, Mr. Facto.

Anyway......just saw a bronco on the road last week and was actually surprised. Because I really like the way it looks on the advertisements, but in person I have to admit it was really small and looked like a jeep patriot. I wish them success, but glad I never got on that wait list. Just like other vehicles (like the FJ) you have to do some mods to make it what it was meant to be!

Customers have been recieving their big Broncos since last week. So now if someone "saw a Bronco" it could either be the Sport or the big Bronco

I originally had an order for one but dropped it in favour of Tacoma that will arrive in a timely manner. It's a shame because the Bronco will be a pretty cool truck.

Even the Sport is pretty cool looking I think.

David saw a Bronco sport and does not like how it looks, except he didn’t say sport.

Phil took this observation a tad personally and overreacted.

Damn... that does actually look like a Range Rover or a Jeep Patriot. I take back my statements. Carry on everyone. :anonymous:

I came here to mention that the Bronco that was seen was more than likely a Bronco Sport, but I think I'm just going to

The Bronco Sport, the baby Bronco, based on the Escape, actually did very well offroad when TFL tested it with the offroad AWD trim. About $36k MSRP.

The real Bronco is a badass offroad SUV for a reasonable entry price if you don't go crazy up-trimming and with option packages. Ford finally let independent Youtubers post reviews a couple days ago. CarandDriver, Edmunds, Autoweek, TFL have videos available.
