Show off your fish

They’re fun. Caught this one last year in a small creek. Saw her cruising an oyster bed and threw a rapala in front of her and just tried to hang on. The gear I was using wasn’t much bigger than what I use for bigger trout. Me and my buddy were both kind of amazed that we were able to bring her to the boat.

 

Caught my PB Largy last week. I maybe assume about 3lbs or so? I didn't have my scale on hand. Holding this fish compared to the dinkers I've been catching was a fun experience lol. Cant wait to get my first 5lb'er!



Couple days later we went out again and my buddy caught this 2.2lber which we did weigh.

Made it home to VA to visit my old man for Father’s Day weekend. Friday we found a few spade fish and a solo trigger fish. On Sunday we ignored the small craft advisory and got in to some spades real thick. It wasn't too bad going out but one hell of a ride coming back in.

 

Caught some trout this week.

First smallmouths of the year out of the Rocky River for me. Little suckers have been hiding from me too well.
