Good! 2 Things... 1) I can't wait to see how Verizon will handle this network load of people jumping ship. (AT&T does quite well with their data heavy network) 2) Can't wait for people to leave AT&T so people like me can enjoy the increased data speeds etc.

Verizon really does have the best coverage nation wide. I've tried switching to AT&T twice because I wanted the iPhone and both times I got crappy reception within a 10 mile radius of my home. I've been with Verizon for 8 years and no complaints other than you can't upgrade whenever you want. If you commit to a 2 year contract you can upgrade every 21 months and 1 year contracts are 10 months I believe. Obviously you will just pay more for the phone on a 1 year contract.

As for which phone to go with it is whatever you prefer. I have the DroidX and I love it. The Android Market has everything you want and need. Itunes has some apps that Android does not but it works both ways. The only thing I have seen an iPhone do that my phone cannot is stream Netflix movies directly to the phone. Good luck with your decision and if you are going to switch and you want the iPhone I heard it will be released on Feb 3.

Verizon will let you upgrade every year for a 20 dollar charge.

I have the LG Vortex, and am really happy with it. Some of the negatives I read: Its smaller than the X, no camera flash, and only 3.2 m camera. None of those bothered me, as I wanted something smaller. There are supposed to be some new phones comming out soon, some with a dual processor, but Im not convinced those arent going to have short battery lifes.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Well I have to say is welcome to coverage! I had AT&T and my girl still does and it sucks in comparison to Version. I don't know how the I phone will effect coverage " Probably none" switching to Version was great just to be able to make a call and not have to worry if it's going to have good enough single to even do so and I'm in the city

Since when? I know I tried a thousand times to upgrade prior to my eligible date and they continuously said "no." If you are on a family plan only the primary line has the option to ugrade every year. All other lines have to wait for the 21 months.

We have 3 lines. We just upgraded one on the 21 month thing, but another one is 11 months into it, and they said we can upgrade for 20 bucks. They did this last year too.....Not sure when they started this, but I have been doing it for a while now....

Don't jump to an iPhone just because it's available on Verizon. The Android market is growing and...IMO...better than the apple market. I have searched them both extensively and Apple charges for most apps. I have over 120 apps on my Droid Incredible. I download most of them because they're free and I like to try new apps. On Apple, you better know if you'll like and use the app cause you probably have to pay for it.

I strongly believe the HTC Droid Incredible is the best phone on the market (maybe the EVO but I've never played with one). Motorola Droid's seem cheaper. The X may have a huge screen but it also has issues (like overheating).

And around here...Verizon is MUCH better than AT&T. I never drop calls, can get 3G even in the remote places and have had great experience with their customer service. I've been with Verizon since 1998 and have no desire to change.
