    You can also keep a simple door key somewhere (on you, or stored in house or where ever), then hide a chipped key inside somewhere away from elements. If the chip is close enough to the interior comp, then the simple key will be able to start the truck. Comp just needs to read the chip in order to disable the theft protection.

    New Tire, identical to old one. $198 total.

    2700 miles on the truck, so tire close enough in size.

    The discount tire was backed up this morning, a wait time to mount so I took it with me (I had dropped it off late Saturday).
    Nice and sweaty after swapping out the spare and getting this one mounted. Hand snug, torque wrench final tighten. 83 ft·lbf

    So I'll get in two workouts today, cross-fit tire changing and boxing.

    Excellent. Nothing worse than being 1/4" inch of tread off and feeling something "not quite right" as you're rolling down the road.

    I'm dealing with that now, rolling on my full-tread spare with 3 low treads trying to last the week.

    Out to WalMart this morning, and I could not catch up with this little box on SKINNY little tires. I thought it was electric, because he really scooted at the lights, but I see an exhaust cutout. I was caught behind traffic, so could not get a shot until the lot. Right hand drive too. He parked on the other side of the lot, and I said I will be quick and catch it; but gone.
