Our historic local courthouse. It's the second oldest continually used courthouse in the state of Kansas. There was actually a movie, "The Learning Tree", filmed in it back in the sixties. The director, Gordon Parks, was born in Fort Scott, Ks. which is about 25 miles south of here.

And yes, in case anyone wonders I have been up in the steeple. It's quite an adventure climbing over the humongous beams in the attic to get there.
