Ya, feel you with slow shipping. Placed an order for a some other truck parts. Shipped from Santa Fe Springs on the 16th, in Los Angeles on the 25th (according to tracking). I mean, I could walk it over faster at this rate

Just got mine this morning, now to figure out if I really want the switch or just use 3/4 of 4x4 selector. It's been two years since I've been trying to track one if these down. Thanks for the limited run!

    4x4 selector works just fine..
    Try without it first.
    You can always add later

Installed and tested! Happy camper! I used some velcro to keep it in place behind the glove box. It makes moving a manual around the yard/ garage a million times easier!

I like the idea of using the switch to keep a more OEM feel and to make it simpler for anyone that might drive the truck without me. Sure, I can't imagine why they'd be needing 2WD LO without me in the truck but hey, why not.

From what I gather, the switch makes it operate as hit the switch, truck in neutral, move 4x4 selector to 4LO position. Right?
