BAMF 2nd gen Hybrid front bumper

I’m no expert but unless you removed the metal bracket at bottom of grill for a winch box mod you should still have it there to fit the bottom center peg. And then the slpt on each side bottom as well

Speaking for the Warn VR Evo installing on a 12-15 2nd gen, it was super close to being able to fit with the lower grill support on. I kept about a 1/2" gap from the body when I mounted it. You could probably just cut/bend up the middle area of the support and it might fit over the control box.

I haven't had any whistling/rattling issues without the lower grill support in place. You could maybe try running zip ties from the lower side clips on the grill back to the radiator support behind the grill?

the flat part of my bumper I center is a tad above bottom grill. The winch box would be just a bit higher than the metal bumper. No way I can make it fit on top. 2nd gen 12-15 front must have more space

I am not sure what lower grille support you’re talking about. At the bottom of my grille all I have is the male plastic parts that slide into the old plastic bumper. Which now that the bumper is off there is no where for it to slide to.

 

Flip back through this thread and some people have posted pics of that lower grill support. It bolts down to the headlight valence support on the inner side of the headlights. there is also a center support coming forward off the radiator support. I took all of this off. It's very thin metal, can be cut with tin snips. No issues with rattling/whistling off road or at 75 on the interstate.

 

Anyone know if a winch from Harbor Freight will cleanly fit the BAMF hybrid bumper?

what makes them different? The spacing of the grille from the bumper? I ask because I have an 06 with a 12-15 conversion

 

Of you have the conversion your fine. You need to have the 12 to 15 grille and head lights for it to line up.

How is it attaching a front license plate ?

 

Very easy with the bumper off. Kinda hard once bumper is installed. As you can see, I don't have mine on (too excited to install bumper once arrived, kinda forgot about it).

 

Does the tw10 code still work? I'm not seeing it applied to this bumper at checkout. Also, any sneak peak as to whether or not there will be a black friday sale?
