I like the design. Put a deposit on a TRD Sport Taco, now wondering if I should hold off for the new Tundra.

The GMC has a motorcycle but mine will definitely be hauling some dirt bikes.

You specifically pointed out the turbo as the weak point of longevity. That’s rarely the weak point or cause of failure. Plenty of high mileage diesels out there on the original turbo. I drove a 6.0 300k miles on the stock turbo and it was just fine.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
And I had a coworker that had a truck with a 6.0L that spent more time in the shop than it did on the road.
Ford even offered him the $2500 if he’d buy a new truck.

And the new Tundra still looks like a GMC.

I think the latest model GMC and chevys are the best looking full size trucks in a long time.
I’m seeing the similarities, not enough to be knock off, Actually thinking the Tundra is shaping up to look better.

And was more than likely due to injectors, egr issues, etc. Turbos are not a weak point for longevity and Toyota has spent plenty of time for r&d so it’ll be a great truck

Going to hold current Tundra but not seeing the problem with a great looking all new truck with better mpg 2023 model cobalt for me if the 22 proves its worth.

I'm not trying to be a troll, but I honestly don't get folks saying what a great looking truck the new Tundra is.

Taste and opinions vary, and that's cool. But the new Tundra is fugly as it can be. That front end/grill is hideous.

I believe if they painted the bottom part of the bumper the same as the body it would make the grill look a little smaller

Toyota should take a page out of Ram's book and continue selling the current Tundra alongside the new one. Call it Tundra Classic, I would like to see which truck sells the most.

With all the new government regulations that car and truck makers have to adhere to Toyota is taking an proactive stance in n converting to electrical trucks. I willing to bet in 5 years non of the large size trucks will be carrying V8. The day of the V8 sad to say are over with Get use to it.

Probably the new one with more power, better towing, more payload, better mpg, etc

They need to do something because that front end is a travesty.

I disagree....the banks will always find a way.
They'll be offering a 50/60 yr home mortgage and a 15 yr car loan.
