After market bumper and bike rack question question:

Is anyone running an aftermarket bumper that has the hitch receiver behind the license plate with a hitch rack? I'm considering going with a high clearance bumper, but like the fact that, with the factory bumper and hitch receiver, I can drop my tail gate with the bike rack in place (1up). I can actually drop my tail gate with the rack folded up since it only carries one bike, but would be OK with have to drop the tray down to lower tail gate rather than needing to get a separate swing away hitch adapter.

But, I'm assuming I'm going to have to go with a swing away.

    I'm in a 2013 AC OR with a topper.

Don't know if you guys have stinging nettle plants in your parts but the back of my left hand smacked a few at speed. Not pleasant.

we have all kinds of thistle, thorns etc...probably some stinging nettle...my legs are always scratched up in the summer due to all of the "roughage"...and that doesn't count pedal strikes and hidden stick/log ends in the brush either

we got a quick 7 miles in today before noon...before the heat ramped up; no pics because the riding was good and fast thanks to hero dirt...didn't want to stop the flow

not sure about stinging nettles but in utah, there's always some singletrack somewhere with a little bit of dry something or some other that'll get you when you're going at speed. mostly in the shins.

    ...stuff
What’s up everyone. Took a break from TW but kept the riding going strong. Built up a custom Switchblade as well and wow... what a bike. Apparently the rep told the bike shop I got the last frame only for the year, not sure how accurate that is but I’m stoked either way. This is at the bottom of a trail called Car Wreck, the pictures don’t show how steep it really is, but a great trail.
