Just ordered this bad boy after putting off getting a waterport for so long. It similar to the water port, but 5 gallons, has a battery to run a pump (also can plug into the trucks 12v) Going to use it to wash the kids sandy feet from the beach, and to wash the kayaks before loading them into the truck.

Once I get it Ill post up some pictures/videos and a review. They just released these so there is not much info yet on them. Should be here friday, but they keep selling out so it may be longer.

 

Now to figure out how to mount it in the bed near the tailgate.

 

Yeah, thats something I will have to figure out for sure. Maybe for the time being I will mount it to my bed basket.

 

Great pictures. I lived in the Eatontown area for a couple years and spent the lion's share of my down time surf casting for stripers. Moved out of state in 2009, and to this day, that's the thing I miss most about that area. If you haven't checked it out already, I'd definitely recommend the StripersOnline.com forums (don't typo that one!). Lot of folks are pretty active on there with fishing reports and other good pieces of info.

 

Mine arrived last week. Got scratched/damaged in transit, unfortunately, but DiamondBack has shown nothing but amazing customer service.

 

It’s a mortar shell ammo can. Modified it with hinge and a pad lock. Nice thing is it’s completely sealed as won’t leak.

 

I was just drawing out plans for something that functions similarly. Well done!

So it looks like the biggest complaint is just on the "shower" setting not being very powerful. Doesnt seem to me to be much of a issue for my use. Rinsing sand doesnt need much power.

 

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Are you able to retract the softopper with the bars still in place?

 

Installed the glove box organizer I picked up on Prime Day.

 

Threw on a set of WeatherTech mud flaps. Got fed up with hearing rocks ding my truck!

 

I put a piece of heat shrink on the aluminum stem of the ball-mount to complete the "blackout"

Added a homemade bedside rack for a couple fishing rods I carry around alot. 1 x 1/8 steel. Bent to shape. Painted Rustoleum farm and implement and covered with bicycle tube.

 

Also, if any of you guys have an FJ40 series, believe it or not, the Map light bulbs are the same as the 40 Series dash cluster bulbs. The LED's are a popular upgrade on those old Landcruisers. Looking at the threads on the upgrade to our new trucks I thought they looked similar. I had some extras from when I did my 40 and yep, same bulb...
