On a random note I saw a pink Ferrari coming through the clouds on a Hawaii mountain rd today. Not something you see every day over here...

Checo's pit cost him the podium.

 

Starting on softs cost him the podium.

 

Finishing in fourth cost him the podium.

 

Not the most eventful race but still entertaining. Redbull was so close to overtaking Bottas. Really feel bad for Gasley and Russell. Gasley did so well in qualifying and was excited to see how he could do in the race. Actually both AlphaTauris were looking good. Tsunoda had a good race. LeClerc... man, he came back, no wonder he won driver of the day. What's up with Riccardo, he's kinda sucking this season. Was he having power issues? I thought i caught the announcers discussing that.

 

Feel bad for Russell. Must be difficult to maintain a positive attitude. He was really running well and could have bagged some points on merit.
Lando was carrying that McLaren. The Ferrari / McLaren fight is pretty good.
Gasly....bad luck.
All in all, it is kind of cool that they can "try again" next week.

In other news redbull gets a stern warning for stappens finish line burn out goof.

 

I know, hard luck for him. He did good at the beginning of the race. Would have been nice to see him battle through the pack like Charles.
