This is the product that broke the camels back. It’s a simple customer service issue. I’m done with them and I’m using the forum to share my experience with others. If you want to give them your money, do it, I could care less. I’ve read tons of things about their products and I’ve had their products, they are nice, but I’ve had too many bad experiences

I had nothing but a nightmare experience dealing with their Customer service. Sent wrong products. Repeated promises regarding shipping replacements, emails bouncing back from their business emails. Although it was eventually solved, it truly made me question whether or not to ever order from them again. While yes they make great products they need to support those orders and products.

Fair. Your original post just doesn't shed light on this being a continuing issue with you. Makes it sound like you had one minor delay and that did it. It's unfortunate you've had that experience with them.

The shipping thing is pretty much status quo for this industry, even with some of the best fab outfits. Website product status and email traffic don’t seem to ever indicate reality.

fwiw, their ditch light mounts for my vehicle fit like ass but they shipped within 3 days so I had that going.

I ordered CBI front bumper and skids on Black Friday. Got it end of March. It’s quality hardware done right.

This year sucks as bad as last year, or worse in some cases for manufacturing, and people availability. If you want normal delivery with off the shelf lead times and immediate response to inquiries, better look for something that is mass produced and stocked by a big retailer. Even then…

Sucks but people really have to adjust their expectations this year, or you will be disappointed if you plan for just in time.

I definitely agree with you on the point of people needing to adjust their expectations and being more understanding. CBI just seems to be really bad at customer service and transparency. I get everyone’s experience is different, but out of all the other major Fab shops around none of them get as many negative posts as CBI. This could also be due to them having a higher number of orders when compared to other fab shops… I think at the end of the day people just want to be treated like a valued customer, especially when sending thousands of dollars to a company…

I will say, that if they personally told you it was "in stock". That's on them. I'd be pissed too. People seem to forget you're talking about an "in stock" item and not a part that has a stated timeframe.

Mods, you can close or delete this thread, nothing
thats the part that got me. if it was a custom part, its a different story. but they responded and are refunding the full cost, so i can't be that mad at them. they apologized and we all move on.

Funny you just posted this. I was literally just talking to another member about reasons to avoid CBI. Great product, trash company, and will lie to your face/email. Totally unacceptable for a fab shop that tries to sell whatever image it is they're blasting all over social media to the all the overland to the mall bros

A half year lead time? Are you out of your mind? I would cancellled after 4 months of f that lol. Good on you for being patient but thats a ridiculous experience from a custom dildo company let alone a fab shop that markets itself the way they do.

Lol more doesnt always mean better. I hit a crawler trail yesterday and bounced off my RCI skids for 2 hours and they soaked up everything. They're bent to shit but they did what they were suppose to do

Edit: not even bent that bad actually
