I mean sounds like a lot but again Fox News you better check that data make sure it’s not something totally blown out of proportions to make a good story

56 homocides in Portland in 2020
And 35 homocides in 2019
So while 38 in the first five months of 2021 is a lot. realistically it’s up like 500% not 800%
But still not even close to the rate of say Washington DC

 

Unfortunately, I'd believe the numbers are in the neighborhood, if not underreported in some areas.
Things are falling apart..if one pays attention.

they probably doubled it with the mindset that if its up 500% in teh first 5 months then it'll be up 800%+ by EOY

Percentages can be funny. If there is 1 murder one year, and 2 the next year, you would say "thats not that bad, there is only 1 more than the year before" but if I said murder is up 100% then that looks much worse. But then when you get into bigger numbers, it looks bad both ways. 100 murders one year vs 200 the next. Still 100%, but 100 more murders sound way worse than 1 more murder.

Thats how many people get miss led with stocks. My ASO is down 4.2% today ($1.77) but my GME is up 3% ($6.50). ASO is down more percentage, but less in actual money. You need to normalize the numbers.

 

This is why I'll never move back.

ASO is actually 1 I actually won't complain about. Has been great since i got on board

I may be buying an ASO call as we speak on this dip. Also anyone looked at LIACF recently? Could be nearing bottom and ready to start reversing or at least going sideways.

 

What do you guys think about CVM, better than predicted results and a 50% drop in value. Citadel is said to hold.

is there ay repercussions to trading PM or AH for accounts who dont have "day-trading" status? i downloaded the Fidelity active trader pro app on my computer and it allows me to trade pre/after market, but I'm wondering if there is any reason not to?
