Have a few different questions for all you Tacomafiles out there.
Is this a light for the Qi charger cubby? Mine does not light up.

There are two connectors directly in front of the battery. Both seem to be capped off. The square gray one is attached to the radiator support and the other is taped to the wire harness below.

Are these for accessories, diagnostics, etc? Thanks in advace.

Yes, there is a light above your QI Charger. It should illuminate whenever the headlights are on.

I can’t speak to the loose connectors you found under the hood. My guess would be they are for accessories which aren’t installed on your truck.

It looks hollow/empty but maybe. I'll try unlocking/ locking the truck to see if that is where the beep comes from.

Edit: @baldbeardedtaco is correct, the gray box is the lock unlock beep for the keyless entry.

If it is for an accessory, I'd like to find out what. It might be something I need in my life and just didn't know it yet. :spending:

    It's not. It's a junction connector...

It ties wires from different locations to one point.

CAN - BUS circuit. Not all vehicles have same configuration on that junction.

I couldn't stand that light...... I went behind the dash and un-plugged it. No more light reflecting in my phone.

It's so dim I never knew there was one. But I've never used the Qi charger so my phone does not sit there.

seems like an awful place to store your phone...waste of space IMO, plus, my phone doesn't have Qi charging, so it's really useless to me! haha. have you ever seen anyone pull the Qi charger out and replace it with something useful in that hole? like a storage cubby? like i used to have in my 2nd Gen?

Someone on another thread had mentioned trying to take out the Qi charger and replace it with the SR cubby.

I did a search and didn't see anything, that's why I'm asking here... I'll keep looking around, thanks!
