I really like those bumpers. Does it cause any errors on the TSS?

I would be interest to know how much settling you had in the front. When I did my 12K winch, I had nearly an inch loss in the front.

I have run my BA Highline bumper for a year and a half with zero TSS errors.

I didn't measure before I installed, however I can feel the weight of it when I drive. Next will be a lift & tires.

I’m sure it will be fine but after cutting and installing I would be sick if I got errors. In my mind I see the radar as a cone projecting out and spreading out so unless something is directly in front of the sensor it won’t see it but I have been wrong before.

    While we're talking lowpro bumpers...

Does anyone have a suggestion for other brands to look at which are similar to the SSO Slimline Plate front bumper? I really like the look and retaining factory fogs location is also a nice bonus.

    https://www.southernstyleoffroad.com/product/2016-tacoma-slimline-full-plate-bumper/

Honestly I'm basically decided on the SSO, but with almost every upgrade to the Taco I usually buy something and find "the exact perfect X" like two days later and have regret about the purchase.

WarFab also has some neat front bumpers (especially with the recessed recovery points and 90 deg winch placement...) but doesn't seem like they'd fit the overall aesthetic I'm going for.

Currently thinking SSO full plate up front and that yet-to-be-released Apogee swing out on the rear.

AC leaks inside and outside the truck
The truck gets taken to the Dealership today for warranty repair of the leaking AC condensation inside the truck. I took the pics because I had a feeling the issue might not get duplicated and that is what I was told today. Got the 25K mile service done and it was documented that my AC leaks. I was told to bring it to them next time it does it. So I get home and there it has started again slightly. Too much hassle to turn right around and go back. I will find the time when it does it to just go straight there. They said they blew the drain line out and they did leave the plastic nut off the firewall cover bolt so they did go in there. I will report my findings if the issue continues.

Gotta be a seal somewhere then if the evaporator drain line was cleaned. That's quite a bit of water too.

Got me a new fishing buddy EDCF2006-BD8E-4CD7-9475-3FCDA91CBFDD.jpgI’ve had this desert does it compressor mount, it goes under the passenger seat, for a while. It’s been sitting on the bench too long. I finally made a harness. But I just grabbed this piece of tubing for feeding the harness through, because I couldn’t find anything else, and it turns out it works really well.

Got my Summit Strykers mounted today! There is the slightest bit of rub with some compression at full turn. Not sure what I should do do. I don't really want to cut (never done it) so I may just put on some sort of leveling spacer until I can install new struts and shocks. Thoughts?

In other news my stock OR wheels are for sale in the Atlanta area. 7,000 miles on them most of which they had the black vinyl stickers on.

Maxxis Razr AT size: 265/70R16, so pretty much stock. As far as ride quality, I’ve only driven back from the tire shop but so far I’m happy.

Road noise is only slightly more than stock, the ride feels a little more stiff but I’m assuming that’s due to the beefier sidewalls, and definitely can “feel” more grip overall. Pretty consistent with what others have reported.
