Does anyone else have this weird bump in the plastic above their passenger side door handle? Tried messing with it a bit, seems like it is molded that way.

Nope have you tried to remove the door panel and position it to see if it corrects it ?

I haven’t. Don’t really love taking off door panels because it seems you always end up breaking some clips that are hard to find.

Have it. Saw some other also mention it. Mention it to dealer, see if they will order a replacement. Mine is not as bad as that.

Went to the dealership, and the first breath out of their mouth is that I must have done it, and then immediately after start saying that the person who tinted my windows must have done it with a heat gun. Going to come back when the service manager is actually here.

This is why most of us hate the dealers. They will try everything they can to blame it on the trucks owner.

Dude, that’s crap. Ask them how they the hell a window tinted could do that? They tint the window, no need to touch the trim panel. Did the dealer tint the truck? I can send you pics of my door, and there are pics of other passengers doors on here with trim warped showing it’s a problem.

Dealer didn’t tint the truck, but I agree there is no way that caused it. Pics of other doors like this would be a huge help.

Take it to a good dealer, they should be able to fix that. Unless you have been working on the panel, warranty work.

Maybe we should start one of those official threads to document this. Also, is it a specific color or model?

Just got back from the dealer. Took them 5 min for them to look at it and order new door panels. I go back Monday to get both door panels replaced.
