Lucky you're missing out on this heat wave Rob. We're headed for 110F next few days. 100F we consider really hot here, and it happens on just a few days late July/Aug. It still June.
When the weather pattern shifts, and it will, it will bring in thunderstorms and lightening, and we are already in drought conditions, so the fire risk is going to be extreme.

That's not good. We saw 100°F+ Summer '19...only time in south-central AK that I recall my 20 yrs here. It's been nice here so far, a little cool and we could use some more rain (always), but nothing uncomfortable so far. Pray your fire season is manageable.

Kristi has kids out clothes shopping today. Stitch is in for his front prop shaft R2. I just took that 'lil Prius to get a haircut and a couple errands...getting in and out of that thing daily would wear me out...just too low and small. ... or I'm too big & fat. Probably some of both. Pack tomorrow and leave Wed down to Whiskey Gulch for camping & fishing 'til Sat.

    How 'bout you Hobbs...staying cool?

No shame in that. I drive an Accord hybrid with its 47mpg. No problem!

I’m tryna’ stay cool, but it’s tough today. Weatherman suggests 106. :frusty:

Never heard anyone that owned one complain. Toyota has really got this Hybrid package figured out. Even Kristi's Highlander is quick; from a standstill it's not surprisingly fast due to weight I expect, but at hwy speeds, floor it to pass and it's a rocket. Experienced it first time a couple weeks ago...went from 60 to 95 before I realized it...kinda shocked me actually.

When its time to replace Mary's Rav4 the Highlander is the list. Probably also look at a hybrid.

I say the same shit about my missus' Prius. Yes, I can admire the engineering of it (virtually bulletproof) and that it'll survive the Earth crashing into the sun...but getting in and out of the fucking thing is killing me.

Yep...I could do a RAV4 hybrid as a commuter if my carpool ever falls apart.

I'm trying to talk her into it but she isn't going for it. She'll be in that Prius until it dies...and we all know that (unless it is pushed off a cliff) it will never die.
