Machined custom ram mounts for my dash this past weekend. Based it off of “ballsoutoffroad” design which is currently MIA. Now I need more stuff to mount lol

I had a really bad creak coming from my front end every time the suspension flexed. Sounded like metal on metal. Turned out it was the polyurethane bushings on my SPC's. Sprayed a liberal amount of Teflon lube on them and it worked like a charm. Here's a link if you wanna give it a try.

I reconfigured the straps on the spare and changed the color. Also modified the Fabtech spare tire carrier hold down to make the bunny ears removable as I didn't like them sticking out. Basically I cut off the ears, welded in a 3/4" socket to the screw and welded in a 3/4" adapter to the bunny ears. Then went out for a swim.

a cheap harbor freight rubber/plastic dead blow hammer was my saving tool when I tried to pop my axle out during my lift install. Didnt feel bad smacking that thing with it since its softer than metal and it worked it loose. I tried the punch in the center of the axle as well and I didnt like what it was doing.

Do yourself a favor and swap out the overfill hex plug for a second drain plug.

Ya i have some sort of rubber mallet i was using. When i first noticed it wasn't budging i sprayed everything with PB Blaster and kept hitting and hitting and hitting. Maybe over time the PB Blaster finally worked and loosened things up but EVENTUALLY it just popped off. I was going to do the passenger side wheel bearing in the same day but decided against it due to being frustrated and tired, ha ha.

On a side note, there's no harm with the axle being pushed inward as i stated right? Like the inner axle seal to backside of the wheel bearing assembly came apart, but from what i gather it looks like it just sits inside and the axle nut keeps it snug... like its designed to move around when everything is untightened?

Ordered this a month ago and finally arrived this week. Looks good and seems more solid than the stock. Great for the beach. Price seems a little steep but found a couple code so made it a more reasonable price. 5EC19E69-A57C-4150-A97C-CDC34FA7AA39.jpg1F9A6D0C-4837-4F98-94D6-783F20E65ABF.jpg

Changed the oil and while waiting for it to drain from the fumoto valve, put in new depo headlights and re-derped the grill surround.

Don't judge my work area, it was 105 while I was doing this in the garage Friday
