Record breaking Washington weather, what's your weather situation?

 

Here in Albany, OR it topped out at 111 today. Never thought I would see that.In June no less.

 

75F here in Ft. Worth, Texas. We did a rare trade with Seattle. But we’ll get ours soon.

 

Here it went up to 117 the heat index was 140+ this weather sucks.

 

106 here in the swamp (Puyallup)

 

What's the dew point? Looks like the humidity is 31%. 115 with little to no humidity probably isn't unbearable.

 

Much better here now. Temp has dropped 30 degrees since 2:00 pm.

 

Heck in Arizona we've seen 105+ every day for the last 2 weeks, some days upwards of 118+.

Last year we saw 145 days of temps over 100... I think 2 years ago they shut down the airport because
they weren't sure how planes would behave at temps over 122.

We'll see 100+ every day for the next 3.5 months, but then while the rest of ya'll suffer freezing cold and
rain and sleet and tornadoes and hail and what-not we'll be chillin in 75 degree weather.

What I want to see is some rain... I think we get about 3 days of rain per year and we are dry as a bone out here.

I was in San Diego last week and damn near turned on the heat at the hotel when night temps hit around 62 LOL

 

Except the Seattle area has 44% of homes with air conditioning. Lowest in the USA

 

Right. When I was a kid, a heat wave was three days in the low to mid nineties. In August. This shit is unheard of up here.

 

Relative humidity has been extremely low, the temp now is 102 with 43% humidity at 7:30 PST.

 

Wife sent me this earlier. Pretty much sums up the day. It’s 99 outside right now and 86 in the house

Our chickens are having a hard time they spread their wings and beak wide open to stay cool.
