Unless you get a tech who’s down with doing some fancy footwork, Firestone isn’t a good choice. Eastern Truck and Accessories is probably your best bet.

I've never been to a Firestone, so thats good to know. To be honest I'll probably just go to Japanese, they've been my shop for years for everything I haven't done myself, I just thought because of switching to adjustables I might try a specialist alignment shop. Thanks again for the info, bummer it was a such a process for you to go though.

Firestone on Holland Road is pretty good, just installed new lift, upper and lower control arms and they did my alignment and it tracks straight as an arrow.

Agreed. That particular Firestone allegedly has a guy who is familiar with SPC UCAs. I can’t vouch for that, since the tech I spoke with didn’t give me the guy’s name, and therefore I never got firsthand confirmation that he could properly align my SPCs. I was told that the going price for specialty alignment work was about $110, which lines up with Bert’s.

Just saw a sweet 3rd gen build waiting to turn out of Walmart on Tidewater Dr (Norfolk). Saw a rooftop tent, beefy bumper and it looked like it was staring into my soul.

It looked too sweet to be driven by someone who doesn't know what Tacomaworld is. Anyone out there?

Goto Suffolk. There’s a Toyota guy there who is awesome and knows our rigs. Shawn Mac and he works at Automotive Specialty in Suffolk. 10/10 recommend him everytime.

Shawn did a great job getting my lift installed. Dude paid close attention to torque specs too, which is one of those telltale things that separates the great/skilled mechanics from the shadetree bubbas (in my opinion). He even offered a discount if I helped, which was great because I wanted to learn anyway.

Goodmorning! Long time browser but too lazy to join. On my 3rd Taco, had an 08 TRD OR, just sold my 21 TRD OR and back in my 10 TRD Sport primarily. Lots of work to do still but getting her up to par ASAP.

First question, is there anyone local that does CMC’s? About to hack mine but don’t have a welder to get a plate welded back on.

If anyone needs a 1st gen bumper for any random reason I’m tossing this one (in VB).
Just DM if you want it.

**It's got some rust spots on outside and the inside is crusty. I swapped to aftermarket, but figured if someone needed a temp solution this might work.

Does it come with the crush cans and mounting horns ?
My 03 front bumper has rust through and sags from minor impact on passenger side.
Nice of you to pay it forward
