For those who have had the entire dash out. Is there a enough room to add MLV sheet rubber to be back of the firewall from the floor to the bottom of the windshield?

Edit: I’m other words would I be wasting my time pulling it all apart to add sound deadening?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I think it would probably be a bit of a waste of time. The dash is mostly just a shell. Even with it out, there's not much more you can get to than what you can now.

Looking at a few google pictures that’s what I figured.

Maybe adding something to the underside of the dash?

Nice. How did you deal with the ETCS-I trans?

I originally tore apart a transmission to get the output shaft and tail housing, but found a great deal on a transmission with under 100k miles out of an 02 from a member here. I'm going to pull my transmission and swap the valve bodies and should be good to go!

It falls apart if you touch it. It's just basic insulation glued to rubber. The rubber cracks and it falls out.

Document the valve body swap if you can, I feel like the ETCSI limitation is something that prevents a lot of 03/04 folk from converting.

Put on my new OEM gloss grey TRD rims with Toyo open country 3s ( 265/65/17). Absolutely no rubbing at all.

Took it out to white girl stretch, need to order some spacers for the bumps in the back, just barely making contact at this point. 092DDB5E-54BF-4874-BA8F-A7862ECA61C5.jpg 8DDB98EE-17B6-4365-A81E-70BA259BC1E8.jpg
I’ve been messing up timing and my trim numbers, they’re decent. DCBDBE33-2C5C-41AC-9FA6-A714323956BF.jpg
And dropped it off for an alignment, cause this isnt decent
