    Update -
All resolved. They reinstalled the perches correctly and fixed my alignment very quickly this morning. Even delivered it after they were done; nice touch to amend the sloppy first pass.
    IMG-7382.jpg
Took it for a test drive around the block to hit as many speed dips and bumps as possible, and I'm happy to report that all the "bouncing" issues are gone.

Have to agree with el infierno Taco, the ride is improved in IMO over stock now that the coil-overs are installed and working as intended :D

    Thanks again for the input!

My dealer quoted me $2100 installed for my not yet delivered SR5. Another dealer in the area has it advertised "on sale" for $2450.

Told my dealer I wanted this when I put down my deposit so in response to your question, maybe. Interestingly though, I was told that lift would get ordered (through the parts department) after the truck arrives and I sign the papers. They said it would then be installed when I receive it and they would adjust the paperwork (milage) to reflect that it was installed when I took possession so as to maintain the 3/36 warranty. Guess they want to make sure the deal is done so they don't get stuck with a lift kit sitting on the shelf.

Btw, I don't know if it has been mentioned as I didn't feel like reading through 67 pages, but my dealers mechanics said this lift can be installed on long beds. Don't know if would affect the warranty though. I opted for SBDC.

Can't wait! Salesman texted me today that it was built, just waiting to be shipped. Anyone have an eta from Cali or Texas to Phoenix after the build?
    Im thinking 2-3 weeks.

I think from Cali (Baja) it would be 2-3 weeks. Mine went from San Antonio to Albuquerque, and it took a few days.

Why they would wait until the truck arrives to order the part is beyond me. It’s not like it gonna sit on the shelf very long if they did order it and you backed out. Maybe there is some sort of stipulation that someone, someplace made up just to make you wait another few days. Congrats on the new truck.

Ok thanks. About what I figured. I actually work for the railroad at the autorack facility in El Mirage Arizona and the yard is empty of new vehicles because of the semiconductor shortage. Trains aren't coming in because there aren't any completed vehicles. Hope they get enough to fill one car with Tacos coming to the Phoenix area or that might even increase the wait.

Yeah I'm going to get on the sales guys again or go over his head. Told him I'm paying cash so not like my credit matters but maybe people bail. IDK. Either way thanks man! Going to miss my Colorado but I'm going back to my roots. Been a Taco guy since my Hi-Lux days. Traded in a gen 1 TRD on the Collie, and while she's been great, I know in the long run this is a better resale option if I ever get rid of her. US cars start to depreciate hard after the 5 year mark so the time was right. Especially with the ridiculous trade in values. Drove the Collie for 3 1/2 years and they gave me 6k more than I paid. Go figure.

I just received my Taco a few weeks ago, dealer had ordered the lift kit and had it ready for me when the truck arrived. I test drove the truck, then took it back to the dealership to sign the paperwork and have the lift installed. No reason they couldn't do the same. If the dealership gave you a spec sheet for your truck, it should have the VIN on it, you could go to/call the parts department and order it yourself. I'd talk to the salesman and work it out.

    Nothing yet, lift coming soon!
This leveling kit has a 1" spacer for the back, will it support a 1.25 or 1.5" spacer for just a touch of rake? I understand its a leveling kit, I just like having that little bit of rake..

I’m sure it would support it, but you need to remember this is (mostly) a dealer installed option with a Toyota warranty. Not sure a dealer would be willing to install a larger spacer and maintain the factory warranty. I think the best thing would be to contact your dealer and get their take (and willingness) to mix and match with other parts.

I'm waiting for the ones that had the dealer install the kit that are worried about the warranty when the the needle bearing goes bad. Yes the dealer will stick in another factory bearing for the warranty, then it will go bad again. Now then on to the ECGS clamshell bushing, then talk about the warranty and see how far you get.

From what I've seen around here and elsewhere, you can do up to 2-2.5" lift without too much worry. More than that and you have to worry more about UCA, diff drop, etc. Can you elaborate more or point to threads where people have had problems with smaller lifts (2" or less, like this OEM lift) and what you are describing?

Let the dealer fix it (multiple times if needed) until it’s out of warranty. Once it’s out of warranty install the ECGS. At least the warranty could save you initially. If you go beyond the warranty before a problem pops up then you are in the same boat as everyone else who did a “non factory” lift.

What does the actual warranty say in writing?

Can anyone post the actual statement from Toyota about warranty coverage?

I have the 5100s same as the trd re branded shocks. I had to do a front diff and carrier drop to keep angles in line, I'm at 2 inches in front. No need for uppers. Check out the needle bearing. Its a hit or miss, some with 2 or more are sometimes fine.
