Mornin' PA! Another warm one it looks like

Wiring = dumpster fire in this thing  Slowly going over it little by little, I'm betting some wires are burned or skinned. The computer isn't even in its original spot so I guess it's time to open some wire loom. Still no title, but I did talk to the notary that did the paperwork. Because the car is so "old" and they had to mail the paperwork to Harrisburg it's taking longer. Had they been able to do it through the computer I'd'a had the title months ago. I did find out I cannot go to the headquarters to get it so it's a waiting game...

    Good morning everyone!

Seems my AC issues aren't limited just to my Tacoma. Got home last night and fired up the AC for the first time this year... for about 5 minutes until the breaker tripped. Did it a second time and it was time to check the breaker. Figured out it was on an older 15A circuit with paper wrapped wiring still, so I ended up removing that circuit and the old wiring to replace it with a fresh 20A circuit (happily it was all on the first floor).. the joys of an 84 year old home!

This weekend might be time to replace the rest of those circuits finally.

I stuck in my big window unit at 6am..

House got to 75 yesterday. My 5000 btu in the bedroom just couldn't quite do it.

The benefit of having your house blocked on the south side by trees.

Well looks like I spoke too soon! Just got back from taking the Camry for state inspection and seen the mail came. Checked the mail and seen that sweet ass envelope from PennDot. Title has been received!

Yes we had someone last year come by and try and get us involved in solar. We had a friend of ours look at the contract. I found a clause in there that put a $20,000 lien on the house while their equipment was installed. So I passed.
I would consider looking into purchasing components on your own and having them installed rather than one of these larger companies. That’s as much experience as I have. GL!

This is the current temperature at my work (Luckily our building has central air); I hope everybody’s A/C is working good!

I am working with these guys to put solar in our cabin. We are off-grid so it is fairly uncomplicated.
They seem pretty easy to deal with. so far.

Probably because it's so hot out the ac cant keep up. Yesterday in the taxi ac didnt start actually feeling cold till the sun went down and that was around 10pm when it decided to cool off.

About 15 minutes ago I started my truck, in my uninsulated, detached garage, to run to the country store in order to get some eggs for dinner. This is what the temp outside my truck read. After the 1 1/2 mile drive to the store, the temp dropped to this.
