Absolutely, unequivocally, not! Never. Ever.

TL;DR: Several cracks in my basement wall that were hidden behind drywall during the house inspection. Found out they lead water on Mother's Day when I spent 4 hours sucking up water out of the carpet. The seller denies knowing about the issue and won't pay for the repairs.

Yeah, I have photos of the damage that I can post later. There is a ton of evidence that this has been going on for sometime. The seller owned the home for 12 years, most of that she rented it out. I cannot believe that the renters paid out of pocket themselves to cover it up and that she didn't know about it.
