Exactly. Including the time you all have to take to transport stuff to and from powder coating. Plus insurance, gas, paying an employee, i own a small business, so i get it. Not many folks do till you lay it all out.

Being a small business owner myself its about negotiating. Should have asked powder guy, if I bring x product what’s my discount, if I bring xx product what’s my discount. And I need my product turned around in x days.

I get it. But its also easy to tell people what they can do better from the outside looking in.

The issue is there are 3 companies I can use, they know it, they all charge the same price and do it when they feel like it. There is no volume discount. I took a 40’ long trailer load of rock sliders to them, the price is the same as if I take them one. Not saying it’s right, but it’s how they operate here.

Yup. Sucks big time. I’m currently looking into having a building built and we move and put in our own line for powder coating. Between our work and the work from surrounding companies the demand is clearly there. We are easily 18 months out to get this complete though and that’s assuming I write the check tomorrow.

Was happy to receive the last parts from my order finally, But some arrived severely damaged.

Here's hoping I actually get a response to my support email this time.

A large portion of rock slider orders came back from powder coat at the end of the day today. I am going through them now to figure out what is what and then start wrapping them in protective foam so I can ship them out. I should receive another large portion of the back orders early next week.

Great! It sucks when a company you’ve relied on for years can’t follow through anymore, but that’s been the story of 2020-2021 sadly.

My sliders missed last weeks mountain trip (so I stayed off the tough trails), but hopefully I’ll have them in time for my July trip (assuming the fires don’t start before then).

Picked up the bumper at the hub today.

@Mobtown Offroad can I get confirmation on anything that’s missing from the accessories box? It was torn to pieces. There’s only one edge trim so I know at least that’s gotten lost. Anything else I should in here that’s not in this picture?

Surprisingly it looks like everything is there. I’m sorry to hear about the shipping damage. Let me know if you have any issues.

Thanks Joe. Bumper itself looked okay was just the accessories box that had seen better days. Once I get it back from PC and do the install I’ll know more.

@Mobtown Offroad I’m thinking back to what the bumper looked like today. I don’t recall seeing the side bar (I don’t know what it’s called) that bumps the truck off obstacles. Looking at the last few on your IG doesn’t have them either. Is that bar not standard on the HC bumper? It’s shown on the product page on the website.

Edit. These are the bars I’m talking about.

They aren’t standard. People would request them to be added for a fee.

Your answer is below but just FYI they're usually called either Kick-outs or tree/rock/boulder hoops.

A local fabricator should be able to bend some up and zap them on for cheap if you don't order your bumper custom with them.

I intend to add some to mine when I do high clear mods to it, lost a tail light for not having them.

    Twice now.

    That's really disappointing.

I'm not trying to be difficult, and it's honestly too late to argue about it now anyway, but I'm a little upset that they're not standard. They're in the picture, they weren't a drop down add on item like the camp table or jerry can basket, and theres no mention of them in the item's text description about needing to contact you to add them. How would I possibly be expected to know they're not standard? You guys aren't exactly the easiest to get ahold of on the phone, so calling about the product and shooting the shit on the phone for 10 or 15 minutes about it really ins't an option, so the customer's sole source of information comes from your website. I won't go so far to say it's a bait and switch, but I certainly feel very mislead.

I would like to think I was patient and understanding throughout the whole wait to get the bumper here after the hangup at powder coating. I really am understanding of how complex it is to run a small business. Honestly though this is the last straw for me, and I can't in good conscious recommend you guys to anyone (even though you do truthfully make some of the best products) or ever do business with you again.

if you try and go to the main page it redirect to a landing page saying the webmaster needs to contact hostgator (their webhost).

    Somethings gone wrong.
