Going to lift my new 2011 DC but I still want to be able to park in my garage.

Does your lifted Taco fit into your garage?

I have a standard attached 2 car garage with the standard 7 foot high door.

Wondering how high I can go before it wont fit?

You could always lift the garage.

I'm betting a 6 inch lift would not make it.

Yea 6" lift or 3" lift with roof rack is pretty much out of the question. One thing to note is that depending on what kind of garage door you have, it may or may not fit. The garage door that rolls up creates more room as oppose to a garage that just goes up (hard to explain)

2.5" lift here and mine fits. I have about 6 inches to spare. I also adjusted the up-travel of my garage door so that is pulls up in the the garage even with the header. There should be two travel adjustment dials on your opener that you can adjust to have it pull up further if you need more clearance.

I will let you know in the spring when I put the OEM roof rack on if it still fits.

I'm thinking you can go all the up to 6'11"...:D jk

I am lifted 2.5" and fit but I had to cut the excess off of the bracket that ties my garage door into the opener. The bracket is kinda universal and has many holes so you match up a set of two and run nuts/bolts through them. With my setup, I had about 6" of excess bracket hanging down that I cut off with my sawz-all.

Only with a full tank of gas and the little knobs on the kayak stackers turned to be horizontal. And then I have 2mm of clearance.

Mine is so close to the door that when I back out or Drive in the antenna pings the bottom of the door (and the antenna is about an inch higher than the top of my truck. anything more than a 3 inch lift would not work in alot of places (including parking buildings, etc...
