    EaWa is still cooking I saw 118* near the Tricities and I believe that’s tied with the all time record high. Where I live we hit 88* in the shade around 2:00 then we started getting a killer marine push finally and it’s been a little windy and it’s 78* now. The last 3 days it’s been stagnant. Really weird going outside it was dead quiet. No dogs barking, no birds, kids, mowers, just an occasional car I could hear in the distance driving down the highway. It reminded me of when we get a deep snow and it dead silent at first light.

    I feel sorry for the garbage man. I put out our trash last night and it smelled like a rotting corpse. I'm sure the smell will be permanently embedded in the plastic now. Every now and then I think I smell it, like it's stuck in my nose.
