Factory Rim/Tires Set for sale

Hi everyone. I was doing some spring cleaning and I am selling my stock 2007 Toyota Tacoma rims/tires.

Tires had less than 5K on them when I went to 33's - tread measures a tad over 7/32nd on 2 and 8/32 on the other two.

Rims and tires themselves are in perfect shape - no scratches no issues.

I live in the bay area - local sale would be preferred.
$600/obo for all 4 rim/tires - and please no low balls

Do they still have the TPMS installed?

 

Good question. I am not 100% I know toyota uses bands around the rims for the TPMS and I am unsure if my tire installer took them off and put them on my new rims or not - anyway to test?

 

Deflate your current tires and see if a light comes on?

 

I know my current rim/tires have them in there - I am just no 100% if the tire shop swapped them over or if they put new ones in.

I would most like say no they are not in there and if they are its a bonus for the buyer

 

Hey just letting you know that Toyota does not use bands for their TPMS they have two types, one for the steel rim and one for the aluminum. Didn't mean to step on your post or anything. That is a great deal on the tires and rims...

 

Thanks - actually now that you mention it I thought they were built into the valve stem - am I wrong in thinking this? Can anyone confirm?

 

The Toyota sensor has the valve stem as part of it and attaches to the wheel via the stem. You can look at your stems and see if they have a hex nut head on the base. If so, it's the sensor.

If it's black rubber, you either have no sensor or they were put on with bands, which would be a good trick on those wheels as the drop center part is pretty small.
