When I went to the dealer to look for a pro they wanted to buy my truck on the spot. Nothing on their lot except corollas and highlanders and a few used Tundra's. I'm probably going to look for a 2022 Tundra or a 2022 TRD Pro. Congrats on the purchase.

Paid MSRP for my TRD Pro Tacoma that I ordered.

Traded in a 21 OR for 39k (sticker 37.5), and they had it on their website the next day for 45k

Local dealer has a used '21 DCSB OR & tech w/ 8400 on the clock for 47k. ~2350 more than MSRP a DCLB OR w/ premium OR & tech. Not terribly surprised by the 'buy it now' price.

Side note: a credit union in Maine has a '20 Supra as a "starting bid of $52,000". While my same local dealer has three '21s for 56k and at least one hasn't moved for two months.

Very true. My son purchased a 2021 Tacoma OR Pro with premium tech/sound etc.....OTD 50K. I thought he was joking until I went to purchase a 2021 4R for my wife. Supply was so limited her in SoCal. One dealer had a model on the lot for $51K. I passed in the morning as I wanted to look around a bit more. After visiting a couple other dealers; I returned and the sticker price had increased another $6K. I was told it was a regional market demand increase. I walked away and called the other dealers I had visited; and sure enough - they all also added the $6K on the same day. I kept calling dealers and finally found one willing to sell for $49,500. It really is crazy - the supply locally has dropped off so much; everyone is paying whatever is being asked. The good news is there will likely be a large supply of Tacoma's back on the market in 2-3 yrs when the lease is up on the ones who could not afford the purchase payment and opted for a lease payment to only find out the in 2 years; the purchase payment will still be about the same.

@Jerry311SD bodes well for me: '17 DCLB SR5 w/ 89k on the clock that I have a # in my head that if the dealer hits I'll trade in when my '21 arrives.

I wanted to sell my 05 Tundra and get a new Tacoma. But Prices are little to high for me right now.

Just finalized a deal on a Cement DCSB Off Road AT. Sticker was 47,530.00. Premium offroad package, Tech, pretty loaded up. Had a SETF package I didn’t want with predator steps and overpriced XP package. Has Pro wheels and Duratracs which I like. But it’s the end of the month so they wanted to move it. Came to a deal at 45,300.00. I’ll just sell the predator steps and make a few bucks.

Wow! Thats the reason why I searched in AZ. Dealers there are still selling at MSRP , lots of dealerships and a lot less people then So Cal.

Yep. I just paid MSRP last week. Other dealers wanted me to pay for tint and paint protection (citing how much cheaper it still is than CA) but Earnhardt let me out the door at MSRP. Message me and I'll happily share the salesman's name. He was a great guy to work with.

the Predator XP package was 2990 or something. Basically pro wheels, Duratracs, predator sides steps and badging. Floor mats were 349 lmao. LED lighting was 199. I was like I don’t need all this overpriced crap. I was gonna get the pro wheels and Duratracs anyway which probably would’ve ran me 1800-1900 so I figured with the discount it’s a good deal.

Just purchased my all black 2021 TRD Off Road Premium Package in Charleston, SC. MSRP was 45,600. they offered me average trade value for my GX460 of 26,000 and $1,000 above MSRP for theirs at $46,600. I ultimately got 27 for mine and paid MSRP for theirs. Mine had just come off the truck and the only reason it was available was someone backed out of their deal, otherwise every Tacoma in my area is being sold sight unseen. The other dealership told me it would be 30 days until I would have one, but now I am headed to the beach today in my brand new Tacoma. I hope to see you all out on the road!
