    Another one of my couple year old, high karma accounts was admin banned from reddit for peaceably offering a climate change opinion . Something fucky is going on.

    I have several accounts banned just from various subreddits, but now I have two of my accounts straight up banned from reddit as a whole.

    Here is what confuses me about something...on a technical/value level...


    Let's say we have X amount of a resource...Gold...
    and people want gold and buy gold and hoard gold...and more people want gold...
    and then China says "We're not allowing you to mine gold anymore..."
    Less gold mined = more worth to existing gold...
    and yet...

    Bitcoin DROPS when china says no more mining...
    hmmm..

    Because it’s only a few steps away from them saying we won’t allow you to exchange “gold”, or Bitcoin in this case, for our currency. Or to make a transaction. Bitcoin is worthless if it can’t be exchanged for currency or used as such. Any crackdown can be seen as a step in that direction
