    I took a quick ride to the store At 1:30pm today with the FRS. No pic but the dash temp gauge showed 103° as the outside temperature.

    I was in and out of the house today. My day off and chilled out with the dogs by the pool. The boxer kept jumping in the pool but then needed to be saved he just kept sinking lol. And the shep fell in twice.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

    It was a scorcher yesterday. I worked on caulking the greenhouse for about 2 hours and gave up. We hit close to 100 here - registered 98 on the front porch. Lynn and I went for a swim after dinner - pool water was 96.

    Heavy thunderstorms last night - lots of lightening and thunder.

    I'll try to get some more caulking done today. We have the paint ready for the greenhouse and the mower garage. Lots of showers in the forecast for the coming days, though.

    Stay safe...and cool.

    Good morning everyone hope you are all doing well. I posted this in the cat tread but I want to post it here in Pennsylvania hopefully someone more local may see it and be able to help.

    I know this might be a stretch asking here. Here goes anyway. I have an unfortunate and odd position I'm put in with my sisters cat. She has been in and out of in patient mental hospitals and we are to the place where she isn't going to be home for months. I need to find a new home for her male cat. I would keep him but I don't have a space to keep him separate from My cat and he is very scared and not approachable after being alone over 3 weeks.
    I have tried all the local animal shelters around York Pa and no one seems to be able to accept this poor guy not even the SPCA.
    He is kinda small and is black and white. He was before all this reasonablely friendly too.
    If anyone wants a cat or knows someone that can help me with finding a new home it would be so helpful.
