Just put a 1’ body lift on the cab of the truck when to turn it around and do the back but the wheel was spinning freely and the tires did not move at all any ideas what the fuck happened. I think I jacked it to high while installing and broke something in the steering.

This is real.. Must be a harrowing experience to have this happen on a trail out in the middle of nowhere.

Very common on jeeps with oversized tires. The rear axles are retained with a C clip that doesn't like the abuse.

In highschool a buddy's XJ on 33s chucked an axle like that hitting a pothole

I wanted a new mower and I had 3 people on FB market flake on me before I was able to grab one.

The one that pissed me off the most was telling a guy at 5:30 I would be there at 6 and he said OK. When I texted that I was on the way he told me someone else "beat me to it" and was coming around 6:15 and he'd let me know if they didn't buy it. I told him thanks but I'll pass.

Finally managed to pickup a barebones push mower with a B&S.

Been happy with my Kuat Sherpa. Only carries two, so depending on what ya need it might not work.
I need to add the swing-away though, way better than tilt.
1Up and RockyMounts make some good ones as well.

I need a washer and dryer for my rental house and I’m truly scared to start looking. I hate buying high demand items like mowers, appliances, tools, etc. because of the “someone beat you to it” bs. Especially when they agree to a time and you’re on your way already.

yeah, it really bothered me especially when the ad was a couple days old at that point. guess he really needed the money.

I try to be as straightforward as possible but these people like to play games. Another guy said he had one available and I said cool, can I pick it up at 4:30 or would you prefer to meet at XYZ? ghosted after that, marked as sold later

I was going to buy one from a guy once and he kept asking for updates because he didn't want to get stood up.

Then he stood me up and didn't say a single word till I texted him, then had the gal to suggest we just try again the next day.

Yeah, it's so frustrating to deal with people like that. I've passed up on "deals" just because I wasn't willing to play the game. I'd rather pay more and deal with someone sane
