    Howdy y’all,
So I ordered a car charger to keep in my truck, and it wouldn’t work for either of my 12v cigarette lighter outlets. I tried the charger in another vehicle, and it worked just fine. I’ve also tried other chargers in my truck, and both outlets just don’t charge.

I thought it would be a blown fuse but i don’t think that would be it since both don’t work. No idea honestly, someone help me lol

    thanks

This is a screenshot of a MESO fuse cover, with Power Outlet fuse location hilighted.

Thanks that helps a lot. What would be my next step if it’s not the fuses?

Have you used the sockets to power anything else? Too often I see individuals plugging an air compressor into the sockets which will blow the 15amp fuse. Generally when the compressor is turned on; there is a spike which blows the fuse immediately which is why a good compressor comes with direct to battery connectors.

I think the outlets only work when the truck is in acc or running . Try starting the truck and use the outlet.

I have used an air compressor from the sockets yes, but that was quite a few months ago. And this problem just came up for me

Have you tried to power any other 12V device using the power socket? If nothing works - the most likely culprit and easy check is the fuse. You can quickly swap with another fuse for a quick check before buying replacement fuses if you do not have any on hand. (Highly recommend carrying extra fuses). Hope you get it figured out.
